Author Guidelines
- The article has not been published previously or is not being considered for publication elsewhere.
- The article should be typed in MS Word and is submitted by submission online in e-journal portal BIA’: Journal of Theology and Contextual Christian Education available at jurnalbia.com
- The article should be the result of library research or field research related to the issues of theology and contextual Christian education.
- The article submitted to editorial team will be processed using double blind review system.
- The acceptance decision of this article is taken by editorial team based on the recommendation from Bebestari partner (reviewer).
- The component of articles should meet the criteria of scientific research standard, including: (a) title of the article (b) names of authors without academic title (c) authors affiliation address (d) abstract and keywords (e) introduction (f) method (g) research findings and discussion (h) conclusion (i) references
- Article format: it can be written either in Bahasa Indonesia or in English with a print-ready format in Microsoft Word on A4 sized-paper (210x297). Paper margins should be set as follows: left 3 cm, top 2,5 cm, right 2 cm and bottom 2,5 cm. The article should range from 4000 to 6000 words including figures and tables (1,25 space). Manuscript is written in Cambria at 12pt size (except the article title) in one column format.
- The title of article should be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English and should not exceed 14 words, with News Goth CN BT, 15pt-sized font without subtitle of article.
- Identity of author: Author’s name is written without academic title under the article title in News Goth CN BT, 12pt-sized font. The space between author’s identity with affiliation and email correspondence is single space.
- If author more than one: For article with two or more authors, the correspondence should be marked with number in the last name of each author. Using one email correspondence and given mark (*) in the author’s last name. For example: ……………1*, ……………2
- Affiliation should be written completely.
- Abstract is written in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Abstract must contain research objectives, method, theory utilized and also findings and discussion. For abstract written in English, it uses format justify. For its English version, it is written using the rules of PUEBI in Cambria, 11pt, with left margin 1,5cm and single space around 150-200 words. Keywords should be written under the abstract for each language and separated by comma with 3-5 words.
- Introduction should contain the explanation of problem research, main question of the research, how to answer the question and thesis statement.
- The method used is in the form of explanation on how to answer the main question of the research answered.
- Findings and Discussion explain the problem discussed, theory used, research result and discussion. Discussion is an analysis for the analysis findings both interpretatively, developing new theories and modifying existing theories.
- Tables and Figures: If the article contains tables and figures, their placement should be at the centre page. For tables, the caption is placed at the top of the table. Meanwhile, for figures, the placement of the caption is at the bottom. Caption more than one line, should be written with single space.
- Conclusion contains answer of the main question of research. Not a summary, and also put the question for the further research.
- Acknowledgements (If any): This is addressed to official institution or individual as the funder or those who have given another contribution to the research.
- Footnote and references must be complied based on Selingkung style Turabian 8 with using reference management MENDELEY and ZOTERO.

- Author is ready for following the rules and policies in relation with the manuscript which has been sent to editorial board.
- Editorial team has the right to publish the journal manuscript in the form electronic or printing. Author is responsible for the content of the article.
- The manuscript published electronically can be accessed free to develop the education and research activities.
